How do these other areas relate to hledger?
Oftentimes, how we spend our money or time influences these other areas. For example, a couple of weeks ago, I wrote about indulging in ice cream. As it was an enjoyable outing with my wife, it had a positive effect on a very important relationship.
In a completely different area of my life — physical health — there was a slightly negative effect: the extra calories that I didn’t need.
Thankfully, one activity can lead to positive results in multiple areas. For example, when my wife and I take an hour walk together, this can have a positive effect on both our relationship and our physical health.
The takeaway for me is that it’s useful to remember that how we spend our money and time influence other important areas of our lives.
